iLRN 2020 Demos and Hands-On Opportunities

Demos and hands-on opportunities give conference attendees the chance to try XR and immersive learning experiences firsthand. A dedicated area of the conference venue will be set up with “stations” that attendees will be able to visit during certain periods to partake in these experiences.

iLRN is committed to giving attendees a substantive, meaningful experience with a variety and breadth of XR and immersive learning technologies and platforms. However, due to space restrictions, only a limited number of demos and hands-on opportunities will be selected. In addition to prioritizing the proposals that they determine to be the most compelling and interactive, the Organizing Committee will give preference to prospective demo presenters/groups who will also be delivering oral presentations at the conference that are related to their proposed demo or other hands-on opportunity.

Accepted and registered demo and hands-on opportunity proposals will be published in the conference proceedings as a form of extended abstract.

Please note that this submission category is intended solely for faculty, staff, and students of educational institutions (K-12 schools, community colleges, and universities) to showcase their projects. Businesses interested in gaining exposure for their products and services at the conference should consider purchasing a sponsorship or exhibition package.
