Dear iLRNetwork Members,

The Immersive Learning Research Network contains many members who are active in the field of immersive learning as practitioners and researchers. Immersive learning is a field of study that emphasizes diversity of scholarship and subject areas. However, this diversity also presents a challenge for understanding the breadth and width of the field. 

Our network strives to develop common understandings, standards, and frameworks intended to unify membership. We have the same purpose as researchers, professors, and organization leaders in the field of immersive learning.

This led us to develop a systematization effort supporting a common understanding of the diverse field of immersive learning. We believe the diverse community of immersive learning researchers and practitioners should be heard. This way, the perspectives and priorities or your membership can be heard and reflected in that understanding.
