About iLRNFuser
iLRNFuser is the official Online Game Jam series of the Immersive Learning Research Network. The series provides opportunities for student teams from around the world, participating remotely from their own physical locations, to engage in a hackathon-style game-development marathon.
The iLRNFuser game jams seek to foster new friendships, build rapport, and create intellectual and professional growth opportunities for students. Participants are invited and encouraged to explore new technology tools, try their hands at new roles in game development, and generally push themselves beyond their comfort zone.
Junior Researchers
Part of the scope of the G.I.CON and iLRNFuser is also to prepare the next generation of developers and researchers on the domain of XR, Serious Games domain. All teams submitting successfully their projects for the iLRNFuser will have the opportunity to write a paper that will cover their research approach to complete their games, requirements met as part of the theme but also initial evaluation of their prototypes and future goals. The papers will be published in a separate DOI online Journal as part of iLRN Network
