Jeffrey Sens is a community organizer of Games For Change PDX, and he is the cofounder and Executive CoDirector of Pixel Arts Game Education. He manages research and assessment, partnership development, grant writing, and program development; in addition, he regularly teaches game design classes and trains volunteers in mentoring best practices. He has a M.S. in Communications from the Ohio State University and pursued a doctorate at the University of Iowa in Communication Studies. After teaching in academia for 10 years, he launched Pixel Arts as a new space of praxis for social justice through video game public cultures.
