Jher is the founder of Metamedia at the University of Oregon. He is a doctoral teaching fellow in Communication & Society with certificates in New Media & Culture and Ethics. Jher teaches and designs courses in the areas of: communication theory, media ethics, embodied aesthetics, digital identity, and ecologies of media. He explores, curates, and remixes at the boundaries of Communication, Philosophy, Art-Science, Law, Cinema, and Music. As a curator, he has collaborated on installations and experiences with museums, materials science centers, a LEED-certified courthouse, and the performing arts. Recently, he was honored with a HASTAC scholarship and serves as member of the Institute of Cognitive & Decision Sciences and Center for Advanced Technology in Education.
