The WAVE Project at Oregon State University

The WAVE grant is a five year project funded by USDA NIFA.  The project is interdisciplinary across Oregon State University Health Sciences, Engineering, Statistics, Technology Across the Curriculum (TAC), and Center for Behavioral Epidemiology at San Diego State University.  WAVE aims at improving the health maintenance skills of teens.  A key part of the project is the Immersive Environment, RippleVille, created by TAC.  This session focuses on the theory, practices, and issues of designing an educational immersive enrironment for teens.
